This is my biggest muskie to date. Got this 48" fish in late October of '05. She hit on a 10" Jake, tequila sunrise color. (with a nice bright orange belly on it, perfect for LOTW's dark tannic stained water.)
It was bright, clear with light NE breeze that day. Air temp in the mid-40's. The water temp was about 52 degrees. We caught her on a trolling pass off the NE corner of Island "X" in a secret island complex on LOTW, near the NW Angle. I can't (and won't) give any more details about the island. I am sworn to secrecy.

She didn't fight as well as some I've caught. Maybe the cool water had something to do with it. Some fish just fight better than others though.
Still lookin' for that 50+" fish.
Pic of "Tequila", the actual lure. It's pretty scarred up from miles and miles of trolling in LOTW's rock infested waters. Notice the groove cut into the side of the lure near the tail end. The hooks are sharp and they take a toll on the plastic lure body.
