Damn!! It IS practical afterall!

I poked some fun at this product a few months back. Now I see that some more opened minded and imaginative souls have actually found several uses for this thing.

Live and learn.

I think this is funny

Thank you President Obama

Thank you Mr Obama for demonstrating to the American public what the Democratic Party is really all about. For years now, the more observant among us could see what was developing behind the scenes in your party. We were derided for voicing our concerns, as we are even today.

But thanks to you Mr. President, the veil has been lifted. And it appears to me anyway, that the majority of Americans don't like what they see.

Yes, yours was a bold move but perhaps a move a decade or two premature. Certainly there are a great many who buy into your schemes with no apparent concern for the cost but still there are many, many of us who recognize the danger the Nanny State represents... more of us than you apparently could imagine.

2010 is going to be a rough year for the Left. The Left's radical agenda is being scrutinized like it never has been before.

America first!

Great Muskies I have known

This is my biggest muskie to date. Got this 48" fish in late October of '05. She hit on a 10" Jake, tequila sunrise color. (with a nice bright orange belly on it, perfect for LOTW's dark tannic stained water.)

It was bright, clear with light NE breeze that day. Air temp in the mid-40's. The water temp was about 52 degrees. We caught her on a trolling pass off the NE corner of Island "X" in a secret island complex on LOTW, near the NW Angle. I can't (and won't) give any more details about the island. I am sworn to secrecy.

She didn't fight as well as some I've caught. Maybe the cool water had something to do with it. Some fish just fight better than others though.

Still lookin' for that 50+" fish.

Pic of "Tequila", the actual lure. It's pretty scarred up from miles and miles of trolling in LOTW's rock infested waters. Notice the groove cut into the side of the lure near the tail end. The hooks are sharp and they take a toll on the plastic lure body.

Lest anyone think I'm all show and no go.... Thunder Ranch

TH1 (took along the kid brother) March '07

I don't know why I'm leaning so hard on TR rock. Must've been the altitude gettin' me. Yeah, that's it. Also accounts for the slightly disheveled look. Tough mornin' on the range. The knee pads indicate that we were working on shootin' from behind cover.

What a fun trip. Except for the food poisoning part.
